Kelso Southwest is seeking a Site Safety Manager to support a large data center construction project in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This field-based role focuses on maintaining safety, compliance, and effective safety program execution across multiple trades.

Responsibilities include leading day-to-day EHS activities, inspecting for hazards, managing permits, and coordinating with project leadership, subcontractors, and craft professionals. Requires 5+ years of safety experience and OSHA 30 certification.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5+ years of construction safety experience on large projects.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA construction standards.
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain.
• Experience with high-risk activities: excavation/trenching, cranes, confined spaces, fall protection, electrical hazards, LOTO.
• Ability to identify hazards and communicate concerns clearly.
• Proven ability to work with project leadership, subcontractors, and craft professionals.

Aufgaben

• Lead day-to-day EHS activities and maintain a strong safety presence on the project.
• Conduct regular field inspections to identify hazards and communicate deficiencies.
• Monitor excavation/trenching activities and verify competent-person responsibilities and protective systems.
• Oversee crane, rigging, and lifting operations for safety compliance and documentation.
• Monitor confined-space activities, permits, and atmospheric monitoring.
• Ensure fall-protection measures are in place and effective for elevated work.
• Audit electrical safety, temporary power, and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Review JHAs, pre-task plans, permits, and other safety docs.
• Track subcontractor safety performance and close out corrective actions.
• Maintain daily safety reports, inspections, incidents, and corrective actions.
• Lead safety orientations, toolbox talks, and project-specific training.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and corrective actions.
