Job summary

Kelso Industries is hiring a Mechanical Superintendent for a data center project in Tulsa, Oklahoma. You will lead field execution, plan and coordinate mechanical work, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

The role requires coordinating with multiple trades, reviewing drawings, and guiding turnover documentation to commissioning. On-site work with a focus on reliability and performance will define success in this critical infrastructure project.

Qualifications

• Experience leading mechanical construction on large projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC and mechanical piping installation.
• Proven leadership, organization, and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations for the mechanical scope including HVAC, piping, hydronic systems, and related infrastructure.
• Plan labor, materials, equipment, access, and work areas to keep installation on schedule.
• Coordinate mechanical work with electrical, controls, fire protection, structural, and other trades in congested spaces.
• Review drawings, specifications, submittals, and coordinated models; raise conflicts before they disrupt field work.
• Establish and maintain installation quality standards for equipment placement, piping, supports, labeling, and access for maintenance.
• Monitor inspections, pressure testing, flushing, cleaning, and other checks; document and correct deficiencies.
• Coordinate startup, functional testing, commissioning, punch lists, and turnover documentation.
• Lead jobsite safety efforts, including pretask planning and prompt hazard correction.
• Maintain accurate daily reports and clear communication with project manager and site leadership.
