Job summary

Salute seeks a Data Center Site Manager to oversee a 24/7 facility, ensuring peak reliability of critical power, cooling, and life-safety systems. You will lead a team of engineering and maintenance staff, manage budgets, and coordinate with vendors to sustain 99.999% uptime.

Deep knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and fire/life safety systems, with strong leadership, safety culture, and customer service focus.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree with 2+ years operating, installing, and maintaining data center equipment and building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, controls).
• HD or GED with 3+ years’ experience in electrical, refrigeration and/or HVAC, or equivalent mix of education/experience.
• Knowledge of data center electrical/mechanical systems: feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS, PDU, AHU, chillers, CRAC units.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing site team across multiple shifts.
• Oversee safety, security, compliance, and transparency in data center activities.
• Manage site budgets, payments, and payroll for staff.
• Coordinate datacenter services, resources, and deployments to meet service levels.
• Collaborate with internal groups and vendors to ensure uptime and reliability.
• Monitor operations and initiate corrective actions to sustain operational stability.
• Develop and enforce quality standards for datacenter teams and projects.
