Job summary

Salute is seeking a Data Center Site Manager in Meridian, MS to lead a team responsible for the operation, maintenance, and safety of critical data center infrastructure. You will ensure high uptime, coordinate with stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement across electrical, mechanical, and life-safety systems.

The role requires experience with data center facilities, strong leadership, and the ability to manage budgets and resources while delivering superior service to hyperscale clients.

Qualifications

• Degree plus experience in operation, installation, and maintenance of data center equipment and building systems.
• High school diploma or GED with 3+ years in electrical systems, refrigeration and/or HVAC, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in a data center: generators, switchgear, UPS, PDUs, AHUs, chillers, VFDs, BMS.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety, security, compliance, and transparency in datacenter activities.
• Lead and develop a high-performing site team and manage budgets and pay cycles.
• Oversee datacenter site services, resources, and deployment for the client.
• Coordinate with internal groups to meet service levels and operational targets.
• Ensure operational stability by analyzing production and initiating corrective actions.
