Job summary

Google seeks a Data Center Site Manager to lead operations for electrical, cooling, and IT infrastructure across designated sites. You will partner with Data Center engineering, hardware operations, network infrastructure, and vendors to ensure operability, maintainability, and reliability.

In this role, you’ll read blueprints, supervise technicians, manage outages, and drive improvements that reduce costs while meeting safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or certified training in industrial/engineering fields or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of electrical, mechanical/HVAC, or controls experience in industrial/commercial settings.
• At least 5 years of data center or facilities experience.

Responsibilities

• Support site selection with operational and technical knowledge.
• Assess risks at third-party co-location sites.
• Own operation of co-location facilities within an area/region.
• Engage stakeholders to keep them informed about work and decisions.
• Oversee maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair to meet global standards.
