Job summary

Zenlayer Inc. is seeking a Data Center Site Selection Manager to support our AI expansion by sourcing potential data center locations and monitoring key market indicators.

In this role you will travel to prospective sites, evaluate feasibility, and develop acquisition strategies considering power, scale, cost, tax and risk. You will work with the Legal team on lease negotiations and maintain relationships with brokers and utilities to drive expansion.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in commercial real estate, specifically with data center site selection.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to liaise with key stakeholders.
• Ability and willingness to travel as a large portion of work
• Strong interpersonal skills to work seamlessly with internal and external teams.
• Strong time and project management skills to manage acquisition processes

Responsibilities

• Identify potential data center locations to support the business' expansion strategy
• Travel to prospected locations to evaluate site feasibility
• Develop and manage acquisition strategies with consideration of power, scale, cost, tax, risk, etc.
• Engage in and support lease negotiations alongside the Legal team
• Monitor market trends and activity to influence acquisition strategy
• Maintain relationships with brokers, landlords, utilities, and related personnel
