Job summary

Zenlayer is seeking a highly motivated AI Infrastructure Procurement Specialist to help expand our AI infrastructure footprint across the United States. You will identify, evaluate, and secure data center capacity nationwide while collaborating with internal teams.

This role requires frequent travel and a startup mindset. Local candidates are preferred, but remote-based candidates may also apply as we scale our nationwide footprint.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in procurement, sourcing, or data center operations.
• Experience in commercial real estate or infrastructure development.
• Strong communication and relationship management.
• Willingness to travel across the United States (up to 50-70%).
• Highly organized with solid project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate data center opportunities across the United States.
• Build relationships with colocation providers, landlords, utilities, and infrastructure partners.
• Support procurement and commercial negotiations for data center capacity.
• Coordinate with engineering, deployment, finance, and operations on site feasibility.
• Assist due diligence on power, readiness, connectivity, and operations.
• Travel extensively to sites and industry events to develop partnerships.
• Help establish scalable sourcing processes as the company grows.
