Job summary

Vultr is seeking a highly skilled Site Construction Lead to serve as the owner’s representative on a live data center construction site, ensuring schedule, safety, and quality on a landlord-controlled site.

The role requires daily site presence, fluent reading of MEP and architectural drawings, and the ability to hold the GC accountable without direct authority. This is a high-visibility, fast-growing position within Vultr.

Qualifications

• Fluent reading of MEP drawings and architectural plans.
• Ability to operate independently on a landlord‑controlled site.
• Proven discipline in daily site documentation and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site walks and verify progress against the build schedule.
• Review RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings; escalate when landlord/GC response lags.
• Track punch-list items and support acceptance and turnover decisions.
• Serve as the primary day-to-day coordination point with the landlord and GC on a landlord-controlled site.
• Monitor safety compliance and escape incidents.
• Maintain photo and log documentation and pay-application support that holds up if a delivery dispute follows.
