Job summary

Beowulf Electricity and Data is seeking an experienced Lead Operator to oversee shift operations at the Barker, NY data center campus. You will lead desk, inside, outside and relief operators, manage rounds and tasks, and ensure safe, reliable facility performance.

The role requires strong leadership, expertise in electrical/ HVAC systems, and the ability to coordinate with facilities, IT, and site leadership. The position is full-time with shift work and a focus on incident response.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical degree or equivalent preferred.
• 5+ years in mission-critical, industrial, power, or data center ops preferred.
• 2+ years in shift lead or supervisory roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Desk, Inside, Outside and Relief Operators during your shift.
• Conduct turnover briefings and maintain operational continuity.
• Assign rounds, inspections, and tasks based on priorities.
• Coach operators and provide on-the-job training.
