As a Server Operations Manager on the third‑party data centers (3PDC)-EFS team, you will lead a team of Data Center Technicians within third‑party facilities, ensuring Google’s sophisticated server, storage, and networking systems meet strict availability targets, service level agreements, and environmental safety standards at scale.
In this role, you will oversee day‑to‑day operations and guide your team through the entire lifecycle of server and network hardware, including installation, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and decommissioning.
Additionally, you will take charge of complex infrastructure deployments, manage project timelines, and develop robust contingency plans. As a people manager, you will be deeply invested in your team’s professional development and career growth while modeling teamwork attributes that positively impact site culture.
