Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Data Center Security Professional in Goodyear, AZ to perform unarmed foot and vehicle patrols, control access, monitor CCTV and respond to incidents inside data center facilities.

You will document events, deter intruders, escort visitors, and support operations during inclement weather, with a focus on safety and compliance. A high school diploma or 5 years security experience is required, plus CPR certification and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Possess, or be able to obtain, the CPR certification.
• Minimum of two (2) years of physical security experience within the last five (5) years.
• Advanced computer skills and proficiency; proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Applications.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.
• Proficiently skilled in using desktop computers and mobile applications to document activities and tasks.
• Ability to prioritize workload based on urgency.
• Ability to analyze high stress situations to dispatch proper teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional level customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Efficiently handle emergency situations, providing safety and direction to clients and customers.
• Answer and respond to events and situations received in person, via phone and/or radio.
• Accurately document routine and unusual events on or near facilities via established logs and reports.
• Provide security support to the data center during inclement weather or infrastructure interruptions.
• Conduct patrols around the business and perimeter on foot and with a vehicle.
• Ensure visitors sign-in correctly by badge and compliance codes.
• Mitigate unwanted intruders and escort visitors.
