Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Data Center Security Professional in Goodyear, AZ to perform unarmed patrols, control access, monitor CCTV and alarms, and prepare detailed reports. The role includes responding to incidents and supporting security operations for a high-availability data center.

The position pays $22.00 per hour and requires high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, CPR certification or ability to obtain, and at least two years of security experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable security experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Possess or obtain CPR certification.
• Minimum of two years of physical security experience in last five years.
• Proficient with MS Office and/or Google Applications.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.
• Proficient in using desktop and mobile tech to document activities.
• Ability to prioritize workload based on urgency.
• Ability to analyze high-stress situations and dispatch proper teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service by following safety and site-specific policies and emergency procedures.
• Handle emergency situations, providing safety and direction to clients and customers.
• Respond to events via in person, phone, or radio.
• Document routine and unusual events with shift reports and incident logs.
• Support data center security during inclement weather or infrastructure interruptions.
• Conduct foot and vehicle patrols around the premises and perimeter.
• Ensure visitors sign in with appropriate badges and compliance codes.
• Escort visitors to prevent unauthorized entry and deter intruders.
