Quality Technology Services, LLC in Cedar Rapids, IA seeks a Development Project Manager (Q-Systems: Security) to lead and manage security design, pre-construction, and construction activities across multiple projects.

You will interact daily with contractors, design consultants, engineers, and vendors, ensuring projects meet timelines, budgets, and QTS standards. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Technology, Science or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 4–8 years in technology systems—security or network design/implementation.
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Willing to travel up to 50% (2–3 days every other week).
• US citizenship required by law due to federal contracts.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects on multiple campuses, overseeing budgets, schedules, and status reports.
• Review designs for compliance with QTS standards.
• Oversee system installation to ensure design compliance.
• Lead commissioning to confirm systems meet standards.
• Develop multi-phased site development plans and update campus master plans.
• Evaluate pricing proposals for design, construction, and commissioning.
• Monitor schedules and lead teams to on-time completion.
• Identify obstacles and remove blockers.
• Liaise with key stakeholders and represent QTS in meetings.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance PM processes.
• Work with Facility Ops to align tech with operations needs.
