Job summary

ByteDance is seeking a Security Program Manager for Data Center Development in San Jose. You will lead on-time delivery of security systems across the US and Brazil, collaborating with data center project managers and vendor teams to ensure successful installations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Enterprise Video Surveillance and Access Control implementations.
• At least 1 year managing security vendors as an end user or client.
• Familiarity with US data center physical security standards.
• High integrity and accountability; able to lead change without authority.
• Strong stakeholder management under conflicting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure on-time delivery of large-scale data center security programs across the US and Brazil.
• Coordinate security installation schedules with data center project managers.
• Manage security vendors for access control and video surveillance installations.
• Guide ByteDance site teams to monitor security infrastructure progress by providers.
• Review security designs for compliance with standards and specifications.
• Support expansion efforts with site surveys and vendor RFPs.
• Collaborate across teams to align future security architecture and retrofit works.
• Drive security program initiatives including design standards and roadmaps.
