Job summary

ByteDance is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to support power and energy functions for its global data center footprint. You will collaborate with Strategy, Data Center Engineering, Operations, Capacity Planning, and Global Supply Chain to manage complex construction and service projects across the Americas and EMEA.

The role requires managing utility agreements, energy availability analyses, and cost optimization for scale infrastructures, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Policy, Law, Economics, Business, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead utility and power due diligence for data center portfolios in support of site acquisition and operation.
• Manage data center energy supply, and identify markets with power availability that meet short-term and long-term demands.
• Support lifecycle power management from power reservation application, interconnection permitting, energization to reliability monitoring in greenfield, brownfield and/or power shell data center models.
• Conduct energy cost analysis and drive initiatives to optimize the budget structure.
