Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Data Center Security Professional to conduct unarmed patrols (foot and/or vehicle) and manage access control at a Meridian, MS location. The role involves monitoring CCTV and alarm systems, writing incident reports, and deterring misconduct.

Candidates must have 1 year of security experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to walk/stand for long periods. Pay is $17.50 per hour, with weekly pay and a Meridian, MS placement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable security experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• CPR certification required or obtainable.
• 2+ years of physical security experience in last 5 years.
• Advanced computer skills with MS Office or Google Apps.
• English reading, writing and speaking fluently.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional level customer service while following safety and security procedures.
• Handle emergencies, offering safety guidance to clients and customers.
• Respond to events by phone, in person, or radio.
• Document routine and unusual events via shift reports or incident logs.
• Support data center security during inclement weather or outages.
• Conduct patrols around the facility on foot and by vehicle.
• Verify visitor sign-in and badge compliance and escort visitors to prevent unauthorized entry.
