Qualifications

• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or applicable license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required as a condition of employment; licensing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and vendors at a technology data center by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of data center buildings, access points, parking areas, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations.
• Monitor access control points and verify authorized entry; maintain logs of security activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm, problem-solving approach; communicate observations to site contacts and leadership.
• Support protection of critical technology infrastructure following visitor management, vehicle access, deliveries, and restricted-area entry.
