Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Access Control Patrol Driver in Sparks, NV to safeguard a technology data center and its clients. You will perform routine patrols, support access control, and deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents.

The role is full-time with a pay rate of $25.21 per hour and a five-day schedule (Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun as listed).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required per policy.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a data center location.
• Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the data center facility, grounds, perimeter, and designated access points.
• Monitor for unusual activity, report observations promptly, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
