Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Badge Access Verification in East Wenatchee, WA to protect clients and maintain access control at a data center. The role emphasizes customer service, vigilance, and the ability to respond calmly to incidents.

This full-time position requires a valid driver's license, computer familiarity, and high school diploma. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred, as are badge access experience and a safety-conscious approach.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access activity and verify authorized entry for visitors and contractors.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner; document observations.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and shift communications.
