Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Data Center Security Manager to join our Infrastructure Operations team in Gainesville, VA. You will drive security excellence across multiple facilities within a short driving distance and lead efforts to fix gaps quickly.

You will work with vendors, collect metrics, improve electronic surveillance and access controls, educate occupants on false alarm reductions, and write reports and presentations for management.

Qualifications

• Experience with access control and CCTV systems.
• 1+ years of security-related professional experience.
• Experience in security- or risk-related fields.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational security excellence across multiple facilities within a short driving distance.
• Interface with vendors involved in security construction, repairs, daily operations and patrols.
• Extract metrics and drive improvements using hard data.
• Write and implement security processes and procedures; prepare reports and management presentations.
