Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Data Center Security Manager to drive security excellence across multiple facilities in the AIS team. You will lead security operations, coordinate with contractors and vendors, and develop procedures to protect critical infrastructure while communicating progress with leadership.

You will analyze security metrics, implement improvements, and educate data center occupants on reducing false alarms, ensuring compliance and high reliability of the AWS global

Qualifications

• Experience with access control and CCTV systems.
• 1+ years of relevant work in a data center or other critical environment, or 3+ years of relevant discipline work experience.
• Experience in security- or risk-related fields.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational security excellence across multiple facilities within a short driving distance.
• Interface with vendors involved in security construction, repairs, daily security operations and patrols.
• Extract metrics and observe improvements by looking at hard data; write reports and present to management.
• Develop and implement security processes and procedures and educate occupants on false alarm reductions.
