Job summary

GDIT is seeking a Data Center Security Lead to oversee security operations across enterprise data centers and hybrid cloud environments for federal programs. You will manage vulnerability scanning, patch cycles, EDR, and Zero Trust, ensuring continuous compliance and risk reduction across DT platforms.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of cybersecurity experience, active Top Secret clearance, and a track record in government data centers. Hybrid work in the DC area is available with periodic travel.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in enterprise cybersecurity operations and vulnerability management.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise vulnerability scanning across DT-managed systems and coordinate remediation.
• Oversee patch management cycles for Windows, Linux, network devices and hypervisors.
• Manage vulnerability remediation workflows, POA&Ms, and risk reporting to leadership.
• Implement and maintain Zero Trust architecture across data centers and hybrid cloud environments.
• Lead ATO readiness and maintain documentation for RMF compliance.
• Collaborate with SOC analysts and leadership to improve threat posture.
