General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Security Lead to support a large-scale Cloud and Data Center Services program for a federal client.

You will lead security operations across data centers and hybrid cloud platforms, driving vulnerability management, patch cycles, EDR coverage, and essential zero-trust enforcement. The role requires a TS clearance and 8+ years in enterprise cybersecurity, with hybrid work in the National Capital Region and occasional travel to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Engineering is required.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• 8+ years of relevant enterprise cybersecurity experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise vulnerability scanning operations across all DT-managed systems.
• Oversee patch management for Windows, Linux, network appliances and hypervisors.
• Manage EDR, zero-trust enforcement, and security controls.
• Coordinate ATO lifecycle management and compliance activities.
• Integrate security telemetry with SIEM platforms and SOC tooling.
• Provide incident coordination and root-cause analysis with RCAs.
