Job summary

ZP group is seeking an experienced Data Center Engineer to build, support, and maintain secure computing environments used for operational missions. This role plays a critical part in the design, deployment, and ongoing security of complex systems across data center environments.

This contract‑to‑hire position is located in RTP, NC and requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Counter‑Intelligence Polygraph. Join a team focused on secure network architectures and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience with contracts requiring NISPOM/ ICD/ DIACAP compliance.
• Hands‑on with routers, switches, firewalls, and enterprise networking tech.
• Experience administering VMware vSphere virtualization environments.
• Proficient with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, Windows Server 2016/2019.

Responsibilities

• Building, supporting, and maintaining secure computing environments for operational settings.
• Deploying and administering Windows, Linux, and Unix systems.
• Supporting virtualization infrastructure using VMware vSphere.
• Securing systems to meet NISPOM, ICD, and DIACAP requirements.
• Assisting in SSP and POAM documentation.
