Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Driver Patrol in Sterling, VA to protect a major technology data center campus. You will monitor access, patrol facilities, and respond to incidents while maintaining a professional, customer-focused presence.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver’s license in state of employment.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a technology infrastructure location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of data center buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials and direct authorized individuals to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff information in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
