Job summary

Cupertino Electric, Inc. is hiring a Safety Specialist - Data Center in Port Washington, Wisconsin. This on-site role supports the Project Team in fostering an Incident and Injury Free Culture and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

The position requires OSHA 30 Construction, 0–2 years of construction safety experience, and strong collaboration with project leadership. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply, and a valid driver’s license is needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• OSHA 30 Construction required.
• CPR/FA Certification (Trainer Preferred). STS/STSC certification preferred.
• 0–2 years of construction safety experience (electrical safety preferred).
• Valid state driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Bi-lingual proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of safety programs through daily field walks and log observations.
• Support project-specific corrective action plans addressing safety issues.
• Provide feedback to Safety leadership on safety improvements and recognition.
• Assist in coaching employees on safe behaviors and recognizing safe practices.
• Assist with site safety orientations for new employees joining the project.
• Assist with basic safety training (HazCom, Fall Protection, Lockout/Tag-out).
• Support incident investigations and injury/illness case facilitation.
