Job summary

Cupertino Electric, Inc. is seeking a Safety Specialist - Data Center to support project teams at Santa Teresa, NM. The role focuses on developing an Incident and Injury Free Culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and aiding leadership in a strong safety roadmap.

Reports to the Area Safety Manager on-site. Work involves daily field walks, coaching, and safety training. The position offers a competitive pay scale ($33.00–$45.00 per hour) with a project incentive bonus and a robust benefits

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• OSHA 30 Construction required.
• CPR/FA Certification preferred.
• STS and STSC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating safety programs through daily field walks and log observations.
• Support project-specific corrective action plans to address safety issues.
• Provide coaching to employees and recognize safe behaviors.
• Assist with job-site safety orientations for new employees and basic safety training.
