Job summary

The Site Safety Manager at Helix Electric in Reno, NV leads and promotes Helix safety culture on the Data Center project, directing site safety plans, risk assessments, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

You will oversee incident investigations, site audits, subcontractor EH&S compliance, onboarding, and safety training, while supporting field teams with coaching, documentation, and timely reporting to protect personnel and project schedule.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of construction safety experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Safety or Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote and support Helix safety culture and processes on site.
• Provide leadership and direction to the job site.
• Conduct site audits and assist with incident investigations and EH&S compliance.
• Coordinate safety training and onboarding for new hires.
• Review safety reports and recommend protocol changes.
