Helix Electric seeks a Site Safety Manager in Goodyear, AZ to promote safety culture on our job sites and lead a comprehensive safety program. You will support investigations, audits, and training to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Helix policies.

The role requires OSHA 30, 5+ years of construction safety experience, and strong communication skills. A safety or engineering degree is preferred; on-site leadership and independent work style are essential.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 required.
• Minimum of 5 years of construction safety experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Safety or Engineering preferred.
• Must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Personality: Personable, detail-oriented and ambitious work ethic.
• Written and verbal skills must be strong.
• Ability to achieve goals with urgency with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote and support Helix safety culture and processes on site.
• Provide leadership and direction to the job site safety program.
• Support incident investigations, site audits and EH&S compliance for subs.
• Monitor performance against safety policies and protocols.
• Identify safety training needs and conduct trainings.
• Assist site management with close site support and medical case management.
• Ensure training completions and safety documentation are submitted.
• Review safety reports to identify trends and recommend protocol changes.
