Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Safety Lead to oversee on-site safety programs for large electrical construction projects, with a focus on data centers. You will lead safety professionals, partner with project teams, and ensure regulatory compliance across sites.

You will develop training, perform field assessments, manage incident reviews, and drive a strong safety culture through proactive planning and collaboration with general contractors and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• CSP/ASP/CHST certifications preferred.
• Experience leading safety training programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the on-site safety team, including training, coaching, and development.
• Communicate duties, expectations, and safety processes to staff and project teams.
• Conduct annual performance reviews for direct reports and provide feedback.
• Approve weekly timecards and manage PTO for the safety team.
• Lead on-site incident reviews and generate reports.
• Review and develop safety, health, and environmental plans for projects.
