Job summary

Gray Construction is seeking an experienced Assistant Site Safety Manager for data center/mission critical projects in Lexington, KY. This field-based role supports the Safety team on hyperscale data center builds across North America.

You will enforce safety rules, maintain records, and lead daily safety meetings while partnering with the Site Manager to address non-compliance and train workers on site-specific safety practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years construction safety experience is required.
• OSHA 30 Hour card is required.
• Experience in industrial construction, preferably data centers, is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enforce use of safety equipment and clothing per OSHA and company regulations.
• Ensure project sites comply with safety requirements and maintain records.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and site orientations.
• Assist Site Manager with counseling non-compliant subcontractors and team members.
• Communicate and enforce Gray’s safety program on site.
