Job summary

Gray Construction is seeking an experienced Assistant Site Safety Manager to support its data center/mission critical projects. You will enforce safety programs on site, lead daily safety meetings, and coordinate with subcontractors to maintain a safe work environment.

The role requires OSHA 30, industrial construction experience, and strong communication skills. This field-based position offers growth within Gray's Mission Critical team and opportunities to contribute to high‑profile hyperscale

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of related construction experience.
OSHA 30 Hour card.
Industrial construction environment experience required.
5+ years in data center or mission-critical projects preferred.
Knowledge of safety/environmental principles and techniques.
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Energetic, self-motivated and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

Enforce safety equipment and clothing as required by OSHA and company regulations.
Ensure project team compliance with safety requirements.
Maintain proper safety records.
Keep work areas neat, safe and orderly.
Investigate incidents and prepare reports.
Counsel non-compliant team members and subcontractors.
Lead safety meetings and jobsite reviews as part of coordination.
Conduct daily safety meetings and site orientation training.
Communicate and enforce Gray’s safety program on site.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
