Job summary

Instrata is seeking a Project Safety Coordinator to oversee day-to-day safety at active job sites, including hyperscale data center structured cabling installations.

You will work with project teams to identify hazards, reinforce safe practices, and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards on busy data center campuses. You will help crews perform low-voltage installation, termination and testing safely and efficiently, while promoting a proactive safety culture.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of construction safety practices and OSHA regulations.
• Ability to engage field teams and reinforce safe behaviors in real time.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site safety inspections and observations.
• Complete Job Safety Observations (JSOs) and maintain documentation.
• Identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Support safe execution of high-risk activities (ladder use, work at height, under raised floors).
• Participate in job planning and site coordination meetings with other trades.
• Assist with incident investigations and follow-up.
• Support new hire and toolbox safety orientations.
