Job summary

Hunt Electric, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Safety Coordinator to support the implementation of the safety program on data center construction projects.

You will work with project leads, field supervision, and craft employees to promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations. Major duties include safety assessments, policy development, incident investigations, and safety training as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' safety experience in a construction setting.
• Electrical trade experience preferred.
• OSHA construction certification preferred.
• Knowledge of state and federal safety regulations as applied to construction and general industry.
• First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety assessments/inspections of projects under construction to monitor compliance with safety/health requirements.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
• Identify opportunities to eliminate workplace injuries and health problems.
• Assist in development of Method of Procedure (MOP) and critical activity plans.
• Conduct investigations into injuries and incidents and document root causes.
