Job summary

Vantage is seeking a Critical Facilities Engineer to support the operation and maintenance of our data center infrastructure. The role focuses on high-availability electrical and mechanical systems, including UPS, PDUs, generators, switchgear and building controls, in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with maintenance/repair of industrial electrical and mechanical systems in mission-critical facilities.
• Ability to read commercial building blueprints and single-line diagrams.
• 5+ years of relevant hands-on experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel <5% and work outside regular hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and repair critical Data Center systems (UPS, PDU, Diesel Generators, ATS, Building Controls, Chillers, CRAH).
• Develop reliability reports to ensure 100% uptime targets are met.
• Coordinate and oversee maintenance vendors and ensure personnel safety.
• Create MOPs, SOPs, and EOPs for maintenance activities.
• Support new systems and document technical requirements.
