Job summary

CoreSite is seeking a Critical Operations Engineer II to join our Data Center Operations team in Denver. You will operate and troubleshoot critical electrical, mechanical, and life-safety systems to ensure exceptional uptime and reliability.

You will mentor teammates, provide guidance, and support customer projects while maintaining safety and operational excellence. This full-time role on the second shift offers relocation and sign-on bonuses for qualifying candidates.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of data center electrical and mechanical systems experience.
• Strong troubleshooting, teamwork, and safety focus.
• Ability to operate in fast-paced, high-availability environments.
• High school diploma or higher is required.
• Willingness to work second shift 2:00pm-10:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot critical data center systems to ensure uptime.
• Perform facility inspections, respond to abnormal conditions, document findings.
• Track, trend, and analyze performance; manage work orders in CMMS.
• Provide advanced remote hands and manage tickets and customer requests.
• Lead administrative tasks across CMMS, ticketing, and monitoring platforms.
