Job summary

Vertiv Co. is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead site work for key accounts in Baton Rouge. The role demands strong communication, construction expertise, and the ability to drive activities with limited supervision, serving as the primary Vertiv contact on site.

You will partner with clients, GC, and trades to manage scheduling, quality, safety, and documentation, while ensuring successful completion and close-out of complex data-center projects.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a project management, construction management role with the ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously.
• Mastery of reading construction drawings; tasks including reading, interpreting, and updating construction project-related drawings.
• Knowledge of current market conditions including pricing conventions and trends.
• Must demonstrate strong leadership and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain adherence to safety standards and file required documents.
• Lead project meetings and drive milestones, reporting to the Vertiv Program Manager.
• Interface with the Client, General Contractor, trades, and consultants at all project stages.
• Coordinate scheduling, quality control, and logistics across projects.
• Inspect and document shipped integrated solutions on site.
• Coordinate with client site operations, GC, trades, and consultants throughout the project life.
• Analyze and report project data to enable weekly status updates by the team.
• Coordinate cross-functional departments to identify issues and drive resolutions.
• Ensure close-out documents including warranties and manuals are obtained.
• Support punch list and final completion with onsite management.
• Collaborate with Vertiv technicians during startup and testing.
• Demonstrate leadership and maintain a customer-service oriented mindset.
