Job summary

Cupertino Electric, Inc. is seeking a Project Purchasing Manager - Data Center in Temple, TX to lead strategic electrical commodity buys and vendor onboarding, including RFPs, QCS, and submittals to meet project needs.

You will collaborate with a General Foreman to develop Bills of Materials, manage site purchasing programs, and coordinate weekly with suppliers on deliveries and backorders. Five years of purchasing experience and a Bachelor’s degree are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Five years of purchasing experience, construction electrical preferred.
• Authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Strategic buyout of electrical commodities for data center projects.
• Onboard vendor engagement: RFPs, submittals, scheduling updates, minutes with action log.
• Develop material BOMs with a foreman and coordinate with suppliers weekly.
• Execute site purchasing programs, track shipments, issue POs, and resolve discrepancies.
