Job summary

Black & Veatch seeks a Data Center Project Manager to lead medium to large data center development projects, overseeing scope, risk, budget, schedule, quality, safety and client satisfaction.

You will staff and lead multi‑disciplinary teams, coordinating engineering, procurement, construction and startup activities, including third-party contributors, to deliver on commitments and contractual requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in the data center industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Contract negotiation skills and knowledge of terms, risks, and payment terms.
• Team development, mentoring, diversity and collaboration to achieve results.

Responsibilities

• Manage medium to large data center development and design projects, including risk, budget, schedule, and quality.
• Lead day-to-day project execution covering performance, financials, planning, schedule, safety, and client satisfaction.
• Staff the project successfully and lead multi-disciplinary teams.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and startup activities with third parties.
