Job summary

Black & Veatch seeks a Data Center Project Manager to lead medium to large data center development and design projects. This role involves staffing, budgeting, scheduling, and ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction across multi‑discipline teams.

You will coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and startup activities, with hybrid work options after 90 days. A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in data centers are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

• Travel to client sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of medium to large data center development and detailed design projects.
• Oversee day-to-day execution of project scope including safety, schedule, budget, quality and client satisfaction.
• Provide for the successful staffing of the project.
• Manage and lead small to medium sized teams of multi‑discipline professionals.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and startup activities with third-party teams.
