Suffolk is seeking a Project Manager in Ashburn, VA to lead and coordinate project resources, manage budget and schedule, and administer contracts and documentation across the project lifecycle.

You will collaborate with owners, architects, consultants, and trade partners, oversee risk and quality, and ensure alignment with the project plan and team progress. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Competenze

• Associate’s degree or equivalent in CM/Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of related experience in construction management.
• Excellent business judgment demonstrated by profitability objectives and strong client/subcontractor relationships.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with contract/legal provisions.
• Ability to analyze and execute financial trade-offs with incomplete data.
• Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities between business needs and client relations.
• Judgment to know when to escalate issues.
• Strong sense of urgency and initiative.
• Ability to quickly study and react to complex issues.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and decisive action.
• Team leadership with diplomatic and communication skills.

Mansioni

• Lead and communicate with Suffolk Field Supervision, Subcontractors and Vendors to align with the Project Schedule.
• Represent Suffolk with Owners, Architects, Consultants, Authorities, Vendors and Subcontractors.
• Administer financial aspects of owner contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
• Build effective working relationships with clients and the project team.
• Review contract scope, budget milestones, and schedule of values at project start.
• Maintain buy schedule, subcontracts, purchase orders, and insurance compliance.
• Review subcontractor references, bonds, and maintain project files.
• Manage purchase, delivery schedules, change orders, shop drawings, and correspondence.
• Chair and participate in schedule and management meetings.
• Oversee requisitions/payments, lien releases, and project cash flow.
• Deliver manuals, closeout documentation, warranties, and training to owner.
