Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Project Manager to oversee core, shell, and tenant improvements on large-scale data center and mission-critical construction projects in Minneapolis. You will lead project execution from planning through closeout, manage subcontractors, budgets, schedules, and documentation, and partner with field teams, MEP partners, and design stakeholders to ensure safe, on-time delivery within budget.

The role emphasizes QA/QC, risk management, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 58 years of commercial construction project management experience is stated as a qualification.
• Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and cost control for commercial construction projects.
• Hands-on experience managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, contracts, and subcontractor performance.
• Proficiency with construction management tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, BIM 360/Autodesk Build, MS Project, or Primavera P6.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate with field teams, trade partners, and stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of core, shell, and tenant improvement scopes on data center projects.
• Manage project budgets, forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Develop, monitor, and update detailed project schedules with field teams and trade partners.
• Oversee subcontractor management, including contract administration and performance monitoring.
• Administer RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contracts to maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with field teams, MEP partners, and design stakeholders to ensure quality and design intent.
• Implement QA/QC processes to meet project specifications and standards.
• Utilize Procore, Bluebeam, BIM 360/Autodesk Build, and scheduling platforms for project controls.
• Identify risks, develop mitigation, and drive timely resolutions to stay on track.
• Provide leadership and clear communication to project teams.
