Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Project Manager to ensure projects are executed on budget and on schedule while maximizing cash flow. This customer-facing role emphasizes safety, quality assurance, and client satisfaction within our growing culture.

You will lead projects from award through completion, coordinate procurement, manage milestones and costs, and maintain precise records. A background in building automation, fire alarm, or electronic security systems is preferred, with PMI

Qualifications

• Project management experience in a technical environment (building automation systems, fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems).
• Initiative and proactive problem solving.
• Strong analytical and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to facilitate a collaborative working environment for customers and team members.
• Extremely adaptable with strong communication and presentation skills to influence others.
• Coaching, mentoring, and staff development skills; leadership oriented.
• Strong financial analytical skills including cost control.
• Experience managing client relationships.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Manage, oversee, and coordinate many aspects for small to medium projects of moderate complexity from award through completion of project.
• Translate customer needs into detailed proposals and project implementation plans.
• Effectively communicate project requirements to project team and wider organization.
• Maintain accurate records of job status, changes, material flow and control records.
• Coordinate procurement of materials and services for timely and cost-effective completion.
• Establish project milestones and analyze costs.
• Oversee subcontractor selection process and work.
