Job summary

Brailsford & Dunlavey (B&D) seeks an experienced Project Manager in Chicago to lead complex, technically sophisticated projects, focusing on data center initiatives. You will guide planning, design, construction, and closeout, partnering with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver value on time and within budget.

You will manage budgets, schedules, procurement, and documentation, while proactive risk management and strong client communication ensure alignment with goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in project management, construction, or related fields.
• Experience managing data center, mission-critical, or technically complex projects preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Real Estate Development, Urban Planning, or related field.
• Proven track record in budgets, schedules, procurement, and project controls.
• Strong knowledge of design and construction processes, drawings, bidding, and contracts.
• Experience coordinating architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to manage multiple priorities.
