Job summary

STV Inc. in Chicago, IL seeks a construction engineering project manager to monitor and coordinate complex projects, including data center builds, ensuring work aligns with contract schedules, budgets and quality standards.

You will oversee all life-cycle phases from budgeting and planning to close-out, develop schedules and cost estimates, review POs and invoices, and identify risks. Travel up to 90% to client sites in IL, WI and OH is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience; Master’s degree may substitute up to 2 years.
• Experience with data center construction projects.
• Willingness to travel up to 90% to client sites in IL, WI and OH.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, coordinate and manage assigned construction engineering projects.
• Ensure projects meet schedule, budget and quality standards.
• Manage all phases of the project life cycle from planning to closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, cash flows, and cost estimates.
• Review purchase orders, change orders, and invoices; forecast risks and resolve issues.
• Advise on standards, protocols and procedures to enable project success.
