Job summary

Brailsford & Dunlavey, now part of PMA, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support its data center projects in Michigan. This on-site role at Saline requires leading multidisciplinary teams, coordinating with contractors, designers, and vendors, and maintaining organized documentation to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in project management, construction management, engineering, facilities, or a related technical field.
• Experience with commercial buildings, laboratories, utilities, site development, or other infrastructure projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as onsite representative of the Owner’s project management team, coordinating with the general contractor, design team, consultants, vendors, and facility stakeholders.
• Develop working knowledge of project drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, equipment requirements, and project controls.
• Track action items, milestones, deliverables, constraints, and open decisions; escalate risks when appropriate.
• Walk the site regularly to observe progress, document field conditions, and help resolve issues.
• Monitor construction progress against baseline and short-term schedules; ensure planned activities start and finish as scheduled.
• Assist with look-ahead and work-plan reviews; identify constraints that could affect delivery.
• Help develop mitigation actions when work deviates and communicate status to senior PM.
• Document site inspections, punch-lists, and track deficiencies through closure.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or similar field
