Job summary

HireTalent is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead Data Center and critical systems projects in the Westmont, IL area. You will oversee installation, integration, and coordination with design engineers, software teams, and field staff to ensure milestones are met.

The role requires 3+ years of lead PM experience, strong communication, and cost forecasting abilities. Travel is limited to the Chicagoland area; this is a contract-leaning leadership role with hourly project tracking

Qualifications

• Requires leadership for planning, directing, and coordinating installation and integration of Data Center projects.
• Strong communication to align client and internal teams throughout project lifecycle.
• Experience with project cost forecasting and scheduling using MS Project or similar.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership—plan, direct, and coordinate installation and integration activities for Data Center projects with the team.
• Monitor and control project costs, schedule, and labor requirements.
• Lead turnover meetings and ensure scope and timelines are understood by all stakeholders.
• Prepare regular project schedules and change orders; coordinate drawings and submittals.
• Visit job sites regularly to ensure timely completion and proper coordination.
