Job summary

CBRE DIRECTLINE, a CBRE Data Center Solutions business, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to drive the delivery of network infrastructure and cabling projects onsite. You will work with the site team and PM to plan, monitor, and optimize schedules, costs, quality, and safety while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 1–3+ years in construction management, data centers, or cabling.
• Track record delivering mission‑critical programs on time and within budget.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with project management tools is a plus.
• Contract negotiation and administration experience is a plus.
• Experience building and leading teams; mentoring direct reports.
• Excellent organizational and coordination skills; strong client engagement.
• PMP or equivalent certification preferred; BICSI RCDD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead project scheduling and budgeting to meet targets for cost, time, quality, and safety.
• Consult with clients, deliver presentations, and propose new services or enhancements.
• Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions with designers, consultants, clients, and subcontractors.
• Obtain permits/licenses and oversee on‑site activities and team supervision.
• Coordinate with internal and external partners across design, construction, and facilities.
• Monitor progress, manage risks, and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain project financial plans and DL project playbook.
• Oversee invoicing, cost tracking, and procurement in alignment with budget.
