Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Data Center Project Engineer to join our on-site Construction Management team in Louisa, VA. You will coordinate with general contractors, manage RFIs and change orders, and ensure fast, high-quality delivery of data center construction.

You will own vendor onboarding, document control, and milestone tracking, while collaborating with Operations, Networking, Controls, and Security to build scalable, energy-efficient data centers that meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Vendor management experience.
• Experience in data center or critical facilities.
• Experience in construction or project management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate communications across data center stakeholders and contractors.
• Develop and maintain a design changes, RFIs, and change orders tracking dashboard.
• Onboard new vendors for badging and orientation.
• Update project management software with milestones and documents.
• Monitor delivery of owner furnished material and compile construction data.
