Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Data Center Project Engineer in Manassas, VA, to join a cross-functional team supporting data center construction and delivery. You will coordinate with general contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely, high-quality execution of electrical and mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant discipline work experience.
• 4+ years of experience constructing and managing complex MEP systems.
• 3+ years of experience managing general contractors and vendors, including RFPs and change orders.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional communication between regional general contractors, stakeholders, and internal teams.
• Develop and maintain tracking systems for design changes, RFIs, and change orders with dashboards for leadership review.
• Evaluate Method of Procedure submissions for thoroughness and risk.
• Manage vendor onboarding including security credentialing and orientation.
• Maintain project management software with milestone updates and document control.
• Coordinate owner-furnished material deliveries to sites.
• Establish a centralized repository for contractor data.
• Oversee quality assurance programs including safety and checklists.
